Beijing time 29th September, 21:16:00, great news was spread out from the Gansu Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center: the launch of the Tiangong No. 1 turned out to be a great success. President Hu Jintao, Mr. Wu Bangguo, Mr. Jia Qinglin, Mr. Li Changchun, Mr. Xi Jinping, Mr. Li Keqiang, Mr. Zhou Yongkang and other senior government officers presented in the Space Control Center in Beijing and witnessed this event. They congratulated the success of this program and expressed their gratitude to the participants of the program.

　　After the accomplishment of the Tiangong No. 1, western media wrote reports about the Tiangong No. 1 program and the progress of the development of the PRC’s aeronautics. Tiangong No. 1 signified a new era of the aeronautics in China.
